The United States is located in the Northern Hemisphere in North America, just south of Canada and north of the Mexican border. It is composed of 50 states: the 48 contiguous states and also Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands. The society of the United States is as diverse as the country itself.
There was no caste system despite what some might have argued at the time, given today's economy. There are many entrepreneurs and rich people who have made their own fortunes, and there are minimum wage factory workers. The United States is a great country with a lot of freedom for those who choose to make it their place to study or to live.

US Legal System The US legal system consists of an interconnected system of checks and balances, featuring judicial, regulatory and governmental powers.
Together, these entities administer and enforce state laws at the federal, state and local levels. The United States Constitution grants certain powers to the federal government which has jurisdiction over certain cases – such as those involving federal laws, foreign governments and conflicts between states. Beyond that, each country has its own governing entity. Each party has the right to a trial by a jury consisting of 12 citizens who evaluate the evidence and reach a verdict.
Most legal cases in the US are resolved before reaching court through legal motions or settlements before reaching trial. Lawyers are an important part of the United States legal system and are responsible for advocating on behalf of their clients. They are licensed by the state in which they practice.
